U.S. District Judge James R. Spencer of the Eastern District of Virginia vacated the capital murder conviction of David W. Boyce on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. The court issued a memorandum opinion stating that Boyce was denied due process because the state failed to turn over a photograph that may have shown that a witness in the prosecution’s case had testified falsely at Mr. Boyce’s trial more than two decades ago. Jackie has been representing us on an extremely complex immigration case. In fact, our previous lawyer gave up and said we are out of options. When we met with Jackie, she gathered all the details, completed her research and came back with 2 options. We sought her professional opinion and pursued the option she identified for us. In the last year, we have seen positive outcomes on our case and are currently in the final stages of getting our immigration petition approved. We feel Jackie is very professional in her demeanor and efficient when it comes to filing/documenting immigration paperwork. Her scrutiny of documents and attention to detail on immigration forms has proved to be be beneficial in our case. I would recommend Jackie to anyone facing immigration issues and looking for answers or to be pointed in the right direction. Jackie presents the facts and information upfront, so there or hidden fees or surprises.
As an immigrant in the US all I can say is GRACIAS from the bottom of my heart to Ms. Jackie, after being ripped off by another “lawyer” and after being in process of deportation, Ms. Jackie put all the facts together and fought for me and my family. Our family’s situation was not an easy one when Ms. Jackie took our case but she always made us feel that there was light at the end of the tunnel. Ms. Jackie is an outstanding professional and provides excellent customer service, she is always willing to explain everything to her clients. Today I am a proud Permanent Legal Resident of the US as well as my family. I recommend Ms. Jackie to everybody who needs help with Immigration, she is the best!!!
Mr.Henson helped reduce my reckless driving ticket to a failure to obey traffic sign violation. Highly recommend.
Mr. Henson attended my court date on my behalf. I was pulled over going 80mph in a 55 mph zone with the risk of a reckless driving charge or misdemeanor. I ended up only having to pay about $150 for the fine and an infraction which was about 2 points. I was happy with this because of the other possible consequences. He was honest about everything and never pushed me to hire him as my lawyer. It was my decision in the end and I was happy with it.
Lysandra Pachuta is a great attorney! I had a reckless driving charge, they could suspend my licence and give me up to $2500 fine. Lysandra Pachuta did he job on highest level, and tanks to her, reckless driving charge was dropped. I will definitely recommend Lysandra to everyone who needs an attorney, because she is professional lawyer, and easygoing person.
I was very worried when I was charged with reckless driving for doing 85 in a 60 on the highway which is a misdemeanor crime in VA. While other attorneys I spoke to tried to frighten me and asked for unreasonable fees, Mr. Henson was honest and forthright about the situation and his fees were very fair. He appeared in court on my behalf and was able to get the charge reduced to a relatively minor speeding infraction. I highly recommend this attorney.
I was horrified at myself to get a reckless driving charge due to speeding. Ms. Pachuta got it reduced to a speeding ticket. Other attorneys contacted me, and they were much more costly and what’s worse, tried to subtly scare me (I’m a middle aged mother with a good driving record) and were less articulate and informative than Ms. Pachuta. I’m so glad I used her services and highly recommend her.
I was recently stopped for allegedly driving more than 20 mph over the speed limit in Fairfax County, Va., which is considered reckless driving. Once I realized that it would be in my best interest to have legal representation I called around. After getting horror stories about suspended licenses and the like from two other law firms, Bradley and Lysandra were a breath of fresh air. They spent more than 30 mins on the phone with me reviewing my case (pro bono) and talked me through all of my options. They gave me good advice that even had I not hired them would have been very helpful for my defense. They were very knowledgeable about the laws and their price was fair so I hired them to take my case. The whole time they were very good about communication (except for one time when I wrote early Monday morning and I think my email got lost in the beginning-of-the-week shuffle, but I followed-up the next day and got a quick response) and kept me in the loop. I ultimately settled my case in a favorable fashion, almost exactly how they predicted it would happen. Should I ever run into legal trouble again (here’s hoping not) I would not hesitate to hire Bradley and Lysandra again.
